The LittleRestaurant
That Could…
Founded in 2014, Koko Head Cafe began when Chef Lee Anne Wong relocated from New York City to Oʻahu, partnering with Chef Kevin Hanney to open a neighborhood cafe in Honolulu. From the very beginning, Koko Head Cafe set out to redefine the local dining scene with creative, locally sourced breakfast and brunch in Honolulu, served in a warm and welcoming island atmosphere.
What started as a small cafe quickly became a Honolulu favorite, known for its innovative brunch dishes, long lines out the door, and recognition across local and national media, including print, online, and television features. Over the years, Koko Head Café has proudly served over one million guests, earning its reputation as one of the most beloved restaurants in Honolulu.
Today, Koko Head Cafe continues to evolve. After moving to a new location just down the street, we’re excited to welcome guests to experience breakfast, brunch, and now dinner in Honolulu, featuring bold Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, seasonal ingredients from Hawai’i and the same passion that has defined us since day one.
Our Mission
Koko Head Cafe is committed to supporting our partners, farmers, and producers through our locally sourced, sustainable menu. We make everything from scratch daily, in order to showcase the best our ‘aina has to offer.
New Digs
In March of 2022, Koko Head Cafe moved down the street to a much larger space that once again had housed its sister restaurant, 12th Ave Grill. We’ve expanded our seating capacity, with both indoor and outdoor seating, featuring a full bar/counter, and also have multiple spaces that can be rented for private events and gatherings. Our entire team is excited for all of the new possibilities and delicious adventures ahead!
